Introduction
Conventional ‘T/Y’ Air Strainers used in locomotives / EMU/MEMU /DEMU use Nylon / Horse Hair as filter which does not give the quality of air & level of filtration resulting in contaminated air entering in the very important valves. Hence, use of Sintered Bronze filters provide excellent filtration level.

For Electric / Diesel Locomotives:- In the Pneumatic pipe line before A 9, SA 9 ,BA 1 & 2 PANELS, SMGR, PANTO, HORN, WIPER, DJ CIRCUITS and RGCP etc.
For EMU/MEMU/DEMU:- In pneumatic pipe line before EP, RDK, HT CIRCUIT, HORN, VALVES etc
Advantages
Prevents failure on account of un-filtered air entering in all above important valves resulting in increasing cases of VALVE ARISING, WORKING OF RUBBER PARTS and failures on account of pneumatics.
